Also known by the names of "Sabina Cathedral" and "Santa Maria in Vescovìo", this church stands on the plain in the province of Rieti where the ancient Roman city of Forum Novum stood. In Romanesque style, its construction began in the 8th century; it was then destroyed by the Saracens and rebuilt and restored several times.
The interior, with a nave, is decorated with a fresco dating back to the 13th-14th centuries depicting the Last Judgment and episodes from the Old and New Testaments.
Our work therefore focused on creating an adequate heating solution to protect valuable artistic works, while promoting the well-being of the people who go to the place of worship.
