Built based on designs by architect Francesco Fornari, completed and consecrated in 1968, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and dedicated to the first martyrs of the Roman Church, who died during the persecutions unleashed by Emperor Nero from 64 to 67 AD. Since 1969 it has been the seat of the cardinal title of the Holy Roman Protomartyrs in Via Aurelia Antica.
In this place of worship, we installed the innovative Thermal Technology solution for heating the faithful, integrated into the backrests of the church pews.
"In our Parish, Holy Roman Protomartyrs in Rome, we have been using the heating system with radiant panels on the pews since November 2023. I can confirm that it has been the best solution for our needs. First of all for the result: the system heats people (not the air) and the effect is a pleasant warmth. Then for its flexibility, as it can be turned on only for the time actually needed (we turn it on just a few minutes before the celebration) and only according to the number of people present (thanks to dividing the pews into sectors). Finally, regarding costs: both the system cost and energy consumption are definitely reasonable. If I had to install a heating system in another parish in the future, I would certainly choose this solution again."
