Thermal Technology kit heats efficiently the raised floor, using the space under tiles. Easy to install, the system consists of a plastic tub, supporting 3 layers: EPS insulating plate of 30 mm (1.18 in), reflecting aluminium layer and heating aluminium adhesive sheet with integrated carbon fiber resistors, the last in direct contact with tiles, for a maximal heat efficiency on the floor surface.
NO HARMFUL ELECTROMAGNETIC EMISSIONS
Heating aluminium sheet is easy to install, it is made of double aluminium foils and the resistances integrated inside, bonded on another layer of reflecting aluminium placed above the thermal insulating EPS plate. In case of damage, the heating sheet can be simply replaced. Several heating sheets (sheet dimension 55x55 cm or 21.65x21.65 inch) can be connected in series by aim of 3-pole connectors, forming standard groups of 4, 5 or 6 elements. The higher is the number of elements connected in series, the smaller is their power per square meter. This is why the systems composed of 4 elements are suitable for less insulated areas, requiring higher installed power of the system.
Heating aluminium sheet - stratification starting with outside layer:
Outside layer made of adhesive aluminium sheet of 40 micron.
Carbon fiber resistors.
Inside layer made of bi adhesive aluminium foil of 40 micron.
Carbon fiber resistors reach a maximal surface temperature of 40°C (104°F). Activation and deactivation can be automatized by aim of electronic control unit (T705). Also, the ambient temperature can be easily controlled by aim of simple thermostat or chrono thermostat.
