Heating Churches and large volumes

Creating comfort areas in buildings with large spaces is certainly not easy, both for the high costs and the technical difficulties involved. Large spaces are often associated to great heights, the heat traditionally generated tends to stratify in high areas and to heat partitioning the areas for short periods involving difficulties hard to overcome.
Resorting to forced hot air solves only part of the problem, because air currents are generated that raise dust and humidity tends to settle on frescoes and plasters ruining them.
Our products, installed on the floor, in the cushions or under the benches in the churches, heat up thanks to the carbon fiber resistors, whose emissions in the infrared band generate heat only when they encounter an object, a wall or a person. The infrared does not heat the air but only the solid bodies, which in turn radiate heat into the environment, thus creating the optimal conditions for the comfort of the occupants.
The electronic management of our products with carbon fiber resistors allows to control the temperature and to divide the areas by time slots, thus avoiding waste.

In this sense, a simple example of designing and installing one of our heating systems with heated footrests and under-carpet provides an idea of how, in practice, the efficiency and practicality of our products are realized.

DESIGN EXAMPLE

A - PARTITION OF THE SURFACE IN SECTORS
To optimize consumption, the heating surface is divided into sectors, powered separately and with the possibility of being switched on and with the possibility of being lit according to the amount of faithful expected for each individual ceremony.

B - MODALITY OF TURNING ON THE ELECTRIC FLOOR HEATING
Considering that the starting ambient temperature is about 10 ° C, the ignition must take place 90 minutes before the start of the Function and the shutdown 30 minutes later, therefore stay on for about 120 minutes.

C - OPERATING MANAGEMENT
On request, an electronic control unit with floor temperature probes is available upon request for the punctual control of every single sector.

D - SURFACES
Total area of the Church = 333 m2
Heating footboards = 189 m2
Heating under-carpet = 30 m2
Total heated surface = 219 m2 equal to 66% of the total.

E - DIMENSIONING HEATING ELEMENTS AND RELATED POWERS
Under-Laminate = a number of 12 elements, dimensions 4,50 x 3,50 m, out of which 6 on the right and 6 on the left.
Power 3.150 W/each - 200 W/m2 for a total of 37,8 KWh
Under-carpet = a number of 2 elements with the dimensions 1,50 x 7,00 m and 2 elements with the dimension of 1,50 x 3,00 m
Power 200 W/m2 for a total of 6,0 KWh

F - SECTORS
A number of 7 sectors with independent ignition, with an average consumption of 6,2 kWh per sector.

G - WEEKLY CONSUMPTION PROGRAMMING
a number of 1 event x 5 days x 2h x 2 lit sectors = 124 kWh;
a number of 2 extraordinary events x 2h x 3 lit sectors = 74,4 kWh;
a number of 2 events on Saturday x 2h x 4 lit sectors = 99,2 kWh;
a number of 2 events on Sunday x 2h x 7 lit sectors = 173,6 kWh.

H – FORESEEN CONSUMPTIONS
From the example we obtain a total of approx. 471.2 kWh. per week.
Assuming 18 winter weeks, an annual consumption of 8,482 kWh can be calculated.
With a cost of € 0.30 / kWh, WE can quantify an expense of € 2,545 / year.

OUR SOLUTION FOR RENT
Laying our floor heating systems is a quick operation, and just as quickly can be removed. For this reason we have decided to offer you also for hire, from the supply of heaters only, with the help of one of our technicians for laying operations, to turnkey supplies. You give us an elaborate and we plan on your needs, thinking of everything: assembly, heating management and subsequent removal, including the eventual supply of carpet and / or finishing laminate.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO CHOOSE IN SAFETY
Investing in electric heating is certainly a smart choice that looks to the future, ecological, simple and clean. However, care must be taken to make the right choice, many improvised producers offer systems that are not approved and not up to their promise.

For example, there are products that, in a misleading way, use the term CARBONIO (CARBON), even when it comes to metal resistors, in graphene, polymers, etc.

The use of the generic term CARBON should never be confused with CARBON FIBER.

Our heating systems use as resistor PAN-type CARBON FIBER which has the characteristic of emitting in the FIR infrared band, with a wavelength of 9.0 μm, superior to all the other systems that reach a maximum of 4,5 µm. In addition, they simultaneously emit negative ions that help purify the air.

PAN CARBON FIBER = energy saving + well-being

Heating with CARBON FIBER resistors, compared to other traditional systems with copper resistors, has demonstrated significant energy savings at the same caloric power:

You can verify that now all the products on the market are CE marked, but this does not always correspond to reality. Only those who, like us, possess the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, important for quality and the environment, have the authorization to use the CE mark.

It must be kept in mind that using electrical energy entails the obligation of Conformity to safety measures according to the European Directives, which are much more stringent than those required for a hydronic system. All our products comply with these standards.

Furthermore, an electric heating system can generate magnetic fields that are harmful to health. For this reason, it is important to verify that the product has the Certification and the related tests that certify the absence of harmful electromagnetic fields:

If your intention is to insert a wall electric heater with a 230Vac power supply at 50-60 Hz, you must pay attention to the constraints set by the European legislation, which DOES NOT allow it to be installed under a height of 230 cm. if there is not a specific Certification with the relative test-report:

GUARANTEES
Attention to the guarantees presented as a skylight mirror, in the market, many electric heating systems, whether floor or not, are produced by non-European countries and distributed with attractive prices and guarantees "for life". If it were true it would be the best, but in the event of a dispute the commercials are paraded and who should respond is the manufacturer, but how to track it down and, above all, how to convince him to replace the product or compensate the damage?? We know very well that renovating or building a house involves huge investments, sometimes the sacrifices of a lifetime. Is it worth risking on products of dubious origin and guarantee to save a few hundred euros? We do not think so, so much so that we provide our floor heating with a real guarantee, covered by insurance for 15 years.
